Meet Dr. Michelle Sturckler (Vestal, NY)

Michelle Sturckler, O.D., obtained her Doctor of Optometry from Salus University in Pennsylvania in May 2023. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from SUNY Oneonta in New York in 2017. Dr. Sturckler's externships included ocular disease at Northeastern Eye Institute in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Vermont VA Hospital, and primary care practice at Boardman Eyecare in Wysox, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Sturckler has been practicing optometry since 2023, specializing in primary care optometry. Her passion for optometry was ignited at the age of 5 when she received her first pair of glasses. What she enjoys most about being an OD is enhancing patients' lives with the best vision possible and establishing connections by listening to their stories.
